L’Arabie Saoudite produit grosso modo 8 Millions de barils par jour (source: http://perspective.usherbrooke.ca/bilan/servlet/BMTendanceStatPays?langue=fr&codePays=SAU&codeTheme=5&codeStat=RS.PET.PROD.PP.BD) soit 6250 jours de production pour atteindre 50 Mds, soit 17 années !
Bon c’est pas une raison pour aller polluer une contrée encore vierge, je vous l’accorde.

Le problème ne réside pas seulement dans la production ou plutôt dans l’exploitation du pétrole mais aussi dans la transformation de celui-ci.
Les raffineries sont vieilles et en mauvais état et peu de producteurs investissent dans de nouvelles raffineries … serait ce un autre signe que la fin est proche ?
