Par défaut, un camion est bridé à 90 km/h or, cette vitesse peut variée de 3km/h juste a cause de l’usure des pneumatiques, en rapport au diametre du pneu. C’est cela qui oblige les véhicules a ce suivrent longtemps et a se doubler: puisqu’ils n’ont que quelques km/h d’écart…

Je pense que c’est adaptable à un camion bâché, par contre, je pense que l’efficacité aérodynamique d’un camion bâché est différente et donc il faudrait refaire des tests avant de dire que ça représente un avantage aussi grand sur un camion bâché.

Les semi-remorques et autres ne sont pas du tout aérodynamique. Les gros trucks au States le sont déjà un poil plus par rapport au taux de pénétration dans l’air.

C’est d’ailleurs pour ça que les semi-remorques essayent de rouler en file, et qu’ils se dépassent régulièrement, pour profiter de l’aspiration de celui qui est devant, mais comme celui-ci consomme plus, il se laisse dépasser de temps en temps pour que ce soit plus équitable.

Comme tu dis, ce serait tellement simple de moins consommer… mais en on-t-il vraiment envie ?
