Prenons un exemple que je connais très bien : MOI … et non ce n’est pas du nombrilisme … voyez plutôt :

Notre famille relativement traditionnelle est composée de 4 membres dont deux enfants n’ayant pas de l’âge de conduire.
Comme la majeure partie (je suppose) des couples travaillant nous avons deux voitures … une petite pour madame et un break familiale pour moi.
Plus de 75% du temps je pourrais me contenter d’une petite voiture mais lorsque nous partons en W-E ou en vacance nous avons besoin du break.
Pourquoi ne pas imaginez des voitures modulaires genre une partie avant sur laquelle viendrait se greffer une partie arrière lorsque le besoin s’en fait sentir.
L’avantage serait un gain de poids et donc une réduction de consommation mais tout en conservant la possibilité de profiter d’un véhicule de taille supérieure.
En gros en pour faire bref une espèce de petite voiture avec une espèce de remorque … mais le tout ne faisant qu’un.

Bon maintenant je ne suis pas designer et encore moins capable de calculer les contraintes auquel devrait se plier (pas fait exprès) ce véhicule pour être homologué et assurer la sécurité des passagers.
