Par contre, pour la Wallonie, peut être qu’on doit attendre la montée des eaux ! Bon ok, je sors c’est pas drôle 😉

« L’association FlanSea a été créée à l’initiative de l’université de Gand et réunit les entreprises Electrawinds, Cloostermans-Huwaert, Spiromatic, Contec, AG Haven Oostende (port d’Ostende) et DEME Blue Energy. Le projet prévoit le développement d’un convertisseur d’énergie houlomotrice adapté à des zones climatiques où la houle est tempérée, comme à la Côte belge. Au cours de la troisième et dernière année du projet de recherche, un convertisseur d’énergie houlomotrice sera installé à environ 1 km du port d’Ostende et permettra de tester l’efficacité et la résistance de l’équipement. « L’objectif ultime du projet est la production de convertisseurs houlomoteurs robustes, efficaces et durables pour des zones climatiques où la houle est tempérée et dont l’efficacité des coûts dans le cadre d’une production de masse soit concurrentielle par rapport à celle d’autres sources d’énergie renouvelable comme l’énergie éolienne offshore », explique FlanSea dans un communiqué.

L’Agence flamande pour l’innovation par la science et la technologie (IWT) investit une somme de 2,4 millions d’euros dans le projet. »
